I've been grooming for 14 years. I started in a big shop with 8 groomers and learned fast β but I never liked the production-line feel. So I opened my own studio where I take one dog at a time.
Your dog gets me for the full appointment. No crates, no waiting in a kennel, no other dogs barking. We go at your dog's pace, with breaks if they need them. Most dogs settle in fast β the treats help.
I use fear-free handling, which means I read your dog's body language and adjust. If your dog is anxious, we slow down. If they need a snack break, we take one. The groom happens when your dog is ready, not when the schedule says.
"Pawsitively Pooched is a one-groomer studio in Beddington Heights run by Erin Tomlinson β 14 years grooming, certified canine cosmetician, fear-free handling."
